10 NDA, 3 SP candidates elected unopposed – UP Legislative council elections

Thirteen candidates were elected without opposition for the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. This has resulted in the Samajwadi Party having a leader of opposition in the council, while the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will have no representation. The elected candidates were awarded certificates in a ceremony. The BJP has seven elected candidates, including re-elected former ministers Mahendra Singh, Ashok Katariya, and Vijay Bahadur Pathak. The other six elected candidates include members from NDA partners.
